Every certificate that comes in is read by hand today — value by value, against the requirement that governs it, before the part ships. Xorah makes that pass first: it extracts each measured value from the document, grades it against the drawing, spec, or purchase order, and attaches a confidence score and a line of reasoning to every call. Anything the grader is unsure of goes to your QA reviewer rather than through.

The work is per characteristic, not per document.

A mill cert like the one above carries fourteen characteristics. A first-article dimensional report carries twenty or more. Each one is the same manual loop: read the measured value, find the governing limit, decide, write the decision down.

Multiply the eleven by the minutes one characteristic takes your reviewer today, and by the documents that cross their desk in a month. We would rather you ran that number than took ours — it is the only version of it that will survive a conversation with your controller.

Getting started

You run it beside your own reviewer before anything depends on it.

Onboarding is mostly reading specifications, not installing software. The engine is already built; what a new shop needs is its own standards encoded and a stretch of running in parallel to see whether the calls agree.

Pick one document type

The one that costs you most now — mill certificates against material specs, or first-article dimensional against the drawing. Not all of them at once.

Its specs get encoded

Each governing standard's acceptance limits become a requirement set: one typed file per specification, which your QA people can open and check line by line.

Run it in parallel

Your shop reviews the way it always has, and compares its reviewers' calls against the system's. Nothing ships on the strength of a Xorah recommendation during this.

Then decide what it is worth

There is no rate card, because there is one shop to price against and a number set on one data point is a guess. Work is scoped and priced in writing before any document is uploaded.

Early, and specific about it.

Xorah is in a paid pilot with a precision machining shop serving oil and gas and aerospace work. Material review — mill certificates checked against material specs — is the first workflow running in production. There is no customer logo wall on this page because there is not yet a wall to show.
